November 3rd, 2024

Seasons greeting family, I hope that your fall has been as beautiful to you as it has been with the transition of leave colors. In the first issue of this newsletter I will bring to you two short stories one about cancer awareness and how that drove me to register in the tapcancerout BJJ tournament, the second topic in this letter is about the notion aligned with the seasons, which this season I deem the big harvest.

Lastly, I will speak about the direction Ryze and new products and services added recently.

Thank you family for the reading and tuning in,

Yours truly, the Realest.

BREAST CANCER MONTH

Being a resident of Philadelphia, I often ponder the idea of people losing their lives too soon. I just recently watched the Hamilton play and the last song in the play, speaks to this story. The title, "who lives, who dies, who tells your story."
Last month, on a Sunday, sitting a the window glass of my job absorbing the sun rays and recalling the hurt my girlfriend experienced over the hurt of her best friend and also not being able to celerbate her in the way that should would have wanted due to family beauracracy. My immediate thought after, was decision to compete in the Tapcancerout.org competition in order to raise funds for breast cancer but also give my girlfriend a platform to tell her best friends story through the commitment I made to compete.

This Saturday, November 9th, 2o24 we will celebrate her best friend Rasheena and all others who have passed due to cancer without truly living to their full potential or being able to share their story.

If you don't stand for something you fall for anything!

Feel free to support by donating to our cause, coming to join the festivities or find a foundation to your liking and donating to it.

Yours truly,

King Carroll5.

The big Harvest

When growing up I use to think fall was ok, but I just loved summer. Now as I've gotten older I look forward to the transition from summer to fall then into winter. The shift in my perception happened recently, as I pondered the idea of sowing seeds.

A short time ago I tried to plant bonsai seeds and failed miserably but the idea of sowing seeds never escaped me. I quickly learned that I have a brown thumb and cannot care for plants, I can plant metaphorical seeds for my life (light bulb goes on).

The theme for this season is the big harvest. With great vigor I will expend energy acquiring a variety of skills (skill stacking) in the season and sow them in time for the summer produce. By the time this semester is over, I will have acquired some certifications;
  • Life purpose coaching
  • Holistic practitioner
  • Trauma informed care
  • Drug, addiction and recovery studies
While still attending my academic studies and refining my business plan of operations.

I dont say this to impress you but to impress upon you that there will be periods lull and then their are time where inorder to achieve what you want you must expend your natural and sometimes unnatural (spritiual strength) resources to achieve it!

Are you in the harvesting season?
Do you have an outcome in mind?
